    sarah : Welcome to our live chat Cmorelli! Are you really sure that you are intolerant to lactose. If it was you certainly have discover before. Try to drink milk to know if you have the same inconvenient. If it is positive, try the soya yogurt and let me know about. Have a nice day!
    Ania: : Hello Sara! I have been following the cruise phase for six weeks now and have lost fourteen pounds. I am very happy but still have these awful cravings for sweet things. I have been making a lots of the desserts from your recipes and eat the Greek yogurt but I can't seem to satisfy myself. I am leaving for a cruise this Friday and I know I will be able to stay with my diet but the sweets are going to a big threat. Any more suggestions ?
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear Ania, welcome to our live chat! I understand you very well. The best for you is to eat a lot of other foods in order to have a platform of satiety, not to prevent the cravings but to reduce them a little. When you feel filled and satisfied, it is easier to reduce them. So, start with the oat bran, make the pan cakes or the muffins, eat chewing gum without sugar, maximum 5 a day, yogurt with flavor and something is very interesting, ask your pharmacist or your doctor to prescribe you homeopathy, it is very natural and very cheap and they exist as some very small granules or pills, they will explain it to you, it used to help a lot for the cravings. Try and tell me and have a nice cruise!
    Ossid45: : Dear Sara, as you all may tell from now, I am a major snacker. I know I can't know, but will I be able to substitute air popped popcorn with starchy foods?
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear Ossid 45, welcome to our live chat! Dottor Dukan like very much the snackers because in his diet and method, it is possible to snack and eat without counting of the 100 food. If you are in Consolidation, you can eat one or two time a week starchy foods. If you are in this phase, you can substitute popcorn but you have to be measured with it because it is so processed that its Glycemic Index is very high and pass very quickly in the blood and triggers a secretion of insulin that helps to put on weight. Try to eat them drinking mil without fat to slow down this effect and don?t forget that you have so many things to eat when you want to put something in mouth. My best advice for you is the noodles of shirataki, it is a fabulous way to have the pleasure and volume without calories. Try them! Have a nice day!
    Eleni: : Hello everybody, I am Eleni from Greek! I want to say how thrilled I am with this diet. I have been dieting all my life but Dukan Diet is the best!!! I reached my true weight easily and effortlessly since I never felt hungry like all previous diets. Thank you so much for teaching me how to eat healthy and maintain my true weight. My question is whether I need now to copy all the tasty recipes that you have sent me since I will soon be in the Stabilization phase and my existing coaching will seize. Will I be able to visit my previous daily food instructions after the Consolidation phase is over?

We are currently working out the details for the Stabilization phase, and your last day on the program is the day after your last Consolidation day. The membership is over at that time, and you will no longer be able to enter your slimming apartment. Make sure to save your favorite recipes!     OlgaRic: : Hi Sara! I am on the cruise phase, with just two lbs to lose more. I follow the program perfectly. Two days ago after a PP day I gained 1.5 lbs, so frustrating! I should add that I am having very strong pre menopause symptoms. Any suggestions?
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear OlgaRic, welcome to our live chat! Take a look at what you ate the past two days, I mean, did you have a lot of dairy products, too much sodium from deli or smoked meats? Did you do a strenuous workout? Hormones can play a factor as you say you are experiencing strong pre-menopausal symptoms. Medications can also cause water retention. Let us know how you doing, send to us a message in the slimming apartment.
    Peter: : Dear Sara, I left Dukan diet in February 2011 and put on 3kg, so weigh 62 kg and should be on 55kkg. I have actually put my current weight but the weight curve shows that I?m on cruise phase which I don?t think is right. I should be now on attack phase but don't know for how long and how to reset weight curve. Can you help? Many thanks!
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear Peter, welcome to our live chat! Despite of your weight gain, I would like to congratulate you upon the fact that you are willing to try the diet again. In your case, since you have left the diet so long ago, you will have to start off doing three PP days in a row. Once this is done, continue to follow your cruise phase instructions. Go for tolerated foods four days after having started back into the cruise phase. Also, you have to make sure that you are doing at least the obligated exercises every day. Just this much will get you back on track quickly enough. Have a great start!
    Maria: : Hello! Why do I have such a bad headache?
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear Maria, welcome to our live chat!At the beginning of the diet, headaches can be caused by ketosis resulted by proteins. I recommend you to drink enough water, at least 1.5L of liquids per day. Have a nice day!
    BrandyPot: : I keep reading that the consumption of dairy product should be limited to 1L. Why is there a limit in the amount of dairy product per day?
    Moderatrice sarah : Dear BrandyPot, welcome to our live chat and thank you for your question! We recommend not exceeding 1kg or 1L of dairy products per day. The book and the website do have differences in portions and allowances. Dr. Pierre Dukan is a perfectionist and is constantly looking for better, quicker ways for one to lose weight and stagnate the least possible; this is why the egg allowance has been modified at one point and time, along with the dairy allowance, and with other foods that have been modified. While one can perfectly get by just having the book, they have less chances of stagnating and more chances of reaching their true weight even before the calculated time, using the instructions from the website.
