Advice from Pierre Dukan during the holidays
Whether you are watching your weight, on a diet or are waiting until the New Year to start your weight loss plan, you are about to cross a zone of turbulence. I'm offering you a friendly and free plan to cross this difficult period of the year so that you don't crash dive into a pile of holiday chocolates (metaphorically speaking). The plan takes place over 4 dates with 4 separate messages:
I suggest that this day be one in preparation for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. If you follow it correctly, you will enjoy these days of high festivity with tranquility and peace of mind.
Tomorrow, throughout the entire day, you can feast on all of the foods listed below. You can eat as much as you want and at any time of the day. What is listed is uniquely for you, forget anything else!
1) Low fat meats, beef and veal, steak, tenderloin, sirloin, roast beef, veal chops, veal cutlet.
2) Giblets of any kind: liver, kidney, sweetbreads...
3) Any type of fish: salt or fresh water, smoked salmon, canned tuna, crab sticks.
4) All seafood: shrimp, crabs, mussels, oysters, etc. In fact everything that comes from the sea.
5) All poultry (without the skin), excluding duck and goose
6) Eggs.
7) Low-fat ham, turkey and chicken, bresaola (dried beef)
8) Low-fat dairy: yoghurts, cottage cheese, quark
9) Tofu, seitan and tempeh
10) Two litres of water.
11) Two tablespoons of oat bran in warm milk or make a pancake with two tablespoons of oat bran, an egg and two tablespoons of quark.
Nothing else: no fruits or vegetables.
For Christmas Eve and Christmas day, go back to your regular eating habits but try not to go overboard. Try to avoid eatng bread between meals, and do not overindulge in alcohol and no seconds for dessert.
Finally, prepare an oat bran galette (pancake) - 2 tbsp. oat bran + 2 tbsp. quark and an egg with a pinch of salt. You can eat this galette during cocktail hour/appetizers.
Make another oat bran galette without salt but instead add a sugar-free sweetener such as Stevia as well as a tbsp. of defatted cocoa powder. Eat this galette after the main course and before the dessert. You can eat dessert afterwards
if your appetite persists.
On the 26th, I will give you the second part of my holiday advice.
Have a happy holiday,
Doctor Pierre Dukan
I hope that you had an enjoyable holiday.
I suggested that you follow a preventive day to anticipate the combined effects of Christmas Eve and Christmas day. But now that we will soon be confronting New Year's Eve and New Years's Day, I want to ensure that all of the counters
are back to zero. So for Friday, the 26th of December, you will have the right to eat all foods rich in protein that you already consumed before Christmas: lean meats, fish, dairy products, eggs etc. in addition to the following
vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, green beans, all cabbage (including brussel sprouts) broccoli, mushroom, celery, aubergine: all veggies except those containing starch such as potatoes, corn, peas, lentils, quinoa, pasta, rice
etc. You can eat as much as you want at any time of the day.
Vinaigrette for your veggies: in a bottle, add a large tablespoon of Dijon mustard with 8 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 8 tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well before using.
Next step, the crucial day: 29th December.

I hope that so far every is going well and that thanks to the tips and advice that you have been following during the holiday season, that you have been able to get through this joyous period without gaining any weight.
We will try to do the same to get through New Year's Eve and New Year's Day.
For this, here is how you should eat tomorrow which will allow you to get through these times of high festivity with peace of mind.
Tomorrow, you will have the right to eat everything that was allowed for the 26th December: all protein-rich foods and vegetables.
As a reminder, here is a list of all protein-rich foods:
1) Low fat meat, beef and veal, steak, tenderloin, sirloin, roast beef, veal chops, veal cutlet
2) Giblets of any kind: liver, kidneys, sweetbreads…
3) Any type of fish: salt or fresh water, smoked salmon, canned tuna, crab sticks.
4) All seafood: shrimp, crabs, mussels, oysters, etc. In fact everything that comes from the sea.
5) All poultry (without the skin), excluding duck and goose
6) Eggs
7) Low-fat ham, turkey and chicken, bresaola (dried beef)
8) Low-fat dairy: yoghurts, cottage cheese, quark
9) Tofu, seitan and tempeh
10) Two litres of water
And here, all of the vegetables:
tomatoes, cucumbers, radish, green beans, all cabbage (including brussel sprouts) broccoli, mushroom, celery, aubergine: all veggies except those containing starch such as potatoes, corn, peas, lentils, quinoa, pasta, rice etc.
As much as you want at any time of the day.
Vinaigrette for your veggies: in a bottle, add a large tablespoon of Dijon mustard with 8 tablespoons of balsamic vinegar, 8 tablespoons of water and one tablespoon of olive oil. Mix well before using.
In addition, you can add a pasta-like food called Konjac Shiratakis.
Simply open the package, rinse the noodles and place them in a pan with a little olive oil. Add minced beef mixed with fat-free/sugar-free tomato sauce. And do not forget to sprinkle a little parmesan on top.
Do not forget to prepare your oat bran galette and add cocoa powder if you like chocolate.
For the New Year's Eve meal as well as for the one on New Year's Day, prepare two oat bran galettes. The first, slightly salty to eat at cocktail hour/appetizers.
The second, without salt, but sweetened with a sweetener - sucralose or stevia - and a tablespoon of defatted cocoa if possible. Keep it for the end of the meal, after the main course and cheese but before dessert.
As I said before, this does not replace the dessert. Do the same for the New Year's Day meal. This way, you'll have the best chance to finish the holidays without gaining weight.
Doctor Pierre Dukan
I've accompanied you throughout the last ten days to get you through the holidays without gaining any weight. I hope that we have succeeded.
As the beginning of a year is often the time of good resolutions, it is possible that you have decided to lose weight.
If this is the case, I want to offer my help. Losing weight is not a decision that makes itself but one that comes from deep within. You can live with being overweight or obese without knowing how to cope with it. And then
mysteriously, one day the force arrives and makes everything simple that once seemed impossible.
If you recognize yourself in this description, be aware that this force within you will not last forever. If you want to use it to lose weight, it is necessary that the method you choose brings you fast, initial results.
You must also be able to follow it without being hungry. The diet must be healthy and secure and above all, incorporate a practical and effective stabilisation plan. This is the definition of my diet.
But that's not all. If you want to insure that the odds are in your favour, I offer my online coaching that allows 90% of people who use it to achieve their true weight: 70% on time and 20% a bit after.
This is a personalised and daily plan. Every morning, I send you your instructions on meal plans, exercise tips as well as motivation advice. Each night I ask you to enter what you accomplished. This report is crucial because it allows me to
send you the appropriate instructions the following day.
To further improve your weight loss results, we have created a line of products that are perfectly adapted to helping you reach your weight loss goals. Do a simple test, look and compare the nutritional labels of our products - biscuits, bars, cereals, etc - with others on the
market, compare the amount of carbohydrates and sugar content and you will see, the numbers speak for themselves.
If you want to know more about online coaching, visit our coaching site and the Dukan e-shop to discover our products.
May this year be gracious to you,
Doctor Pierre Dukan
