I managed to combine work and dieting without any trouble!
My name is Laeticia and thanks to the Dukan method I've lost 11 pounds in 3 weeks without any frustration...
My Dukan story...
For about 10 years now, I've tried one unsuitable and useless diet after another. I'm just over 5 foot 2 and I used to weigh around 9 ½ stone. 5 years ago through doing some sport I managed to lose almost a stone and a half over several months.
Unfortunately, as soon as I started working I no longer had enough time to be disciplined and practise any sporting activity on a regular basis. As time went by I put about 11 pounds back on and believe you me when you are small these extra 11 pounds make all the difference! I didn't like my figure and I just couldn't get rid of these unwanted pounds. I soon realized that I wasn't eating the right things and most importantly that I had absolutely no patience. As soon as I started dieting if I didn't see any results straight away I gave up!
Whilst this was going on, my younger sister who had always been overweight started the Dukan diet method. In a few months she lost over 3 STONE! It was incredible; she looked like a different woman. I am very close to my sister and throughout that year I admired her for her sense of determination, her courage and her strength... Even if she did tell me that it was much easier with the Dukan diet. I was so pleased for her, I could see that she felt happier about herself and had more self-confidence... the problem now is stopping all the guys in the street from following her!
Seeing her succeed made me want to have a go too. At the beginning I thought all I had to do was just do what she did, but then I soon realized that every person needs a particular diet (alternating protein days with days when you have lots of vegetables, foods that are tolerated etc...)
When I found out that there was a site especially for the diet that offers a personalized programme, I said to myself that one day I'd have to give it a go.
At the end of the year, I decided to set up my own consultancy company. At the same time just as I was getting my working life sorted out I decided to take care of my body too. I needed to get control over my life with a structured method that worked. Being an impatient person, I had to get rid of these wretched 11 pounds quickly and once and for all!
After subscribing to the site, I followed the instructions to the letter and filled in my reports every day.
I was really surprised to get instructions with such personalized instructions that fitted my profile. And finally I got rid of these eleven pounds in about 3 weeks! And I didn't miss anything! In fact this diet was just right for me as I'm not disciplined with food.
Everything was simple with the Dukan diet, the rules were simple, no need to weigh out your food or get bogged down working out what you can eat with what etc... and most importantly there was always a solution so that you never felt hungry.
Today I am more careful about what I eat; now whenever I overdo it I know what to do and how I look on the outside fits with how I feel inside. I even felt like disciplining myself a little to be able to do some sport (once a week, I'm still a bit lazy and swamped with work). I've got rid of those 11 pounds that were getting me down once and for all.
