Is it bad that i am only starting the coaching now? I have been on the diet for over 2 weeks now and have lost a stone already but i was really tempted at the weekend, so i thought i needed coaching now to keep me on track. Posted by buttsquash on 13/06/2011 13:49:16

Hi buttsquash I didn't join the coaching until I had reached my True Weight. I used the book to lose 3 stone but felt I needed help to maintain my weight through the consolidation and stabilisation phases when all my previous diets had "failed". I have found it invaluable to be able to access the team and also have access to the extensive knowledge from members on the forum to help with these ongoing phases. I am currently on my "2nd half of consolidation" and all is going to plan, so I can safely say that it's working for me.
I don't think it's "bad" at all, in fact I think it's very sensible that you are getting the coaching when you feel you need some help. Well done on your weight loss so far - one stone in 2 weeks is wonderful. Sally-Anne Posted by sallyannedean on 13/06/2011 15:53:25

I joined the coaching after 6 weeks on the diet - like you, because I was falling prey to temptation and thought that drastic measures were needed. It was a good decision, because I have now lost over 70 lbs and will be starting Consolidation at the end of this week. By the way, when I told the coaching team that I had already started the diet, they shortened the Attack phase in my programme. You may wish to get in touch with them so that your programme is adjusted to suit your circumstances. Good luck with the (ongoing) diet. Posted by Avocet on 13/06/2011 16:50:46

Oh I am glad that I'm not the only one. I really started the diet on 8th May but had 3 weeks awayfrom home, (two holidays) and a family wedding since then. I was doing failry well but thought I had to start all over again. Technically, I have only lost just under 7 lbs in that time but my current coaching graph doesn;t show that. WOuld the team be able to amend it? I'm currently on Day 2 of a 3 day attack phase. Posted by Ailicec on 18/06/2011 14:52:28

(In fact I have continued to lose a few extra pounds which is great).
Keep up the good work.
