Hi there all... Im writing as a guest. I have been following the Dukan diet (i bought the book) for a few months now. Overall i am very pleased, i love this diet, and have lost almost a stone since the beggining. In the past month i have been going through a very stressful time of my life, and on top of the Cruise phase, i lost about 5 lbs in 3-4 days! great! Since i was so stressed out, i decided that although i was not at my goal weight i should Consolidate, as i felt my motivation slipping, but also because i was to depressed to eat what i should, and would eat say an icecream but that would be it for the day. For the past 2 weeks, my attempt at consolidating has been pathetic! I start out well in the morning and come home in the evening and just eat junk.... Im a waitress and am on my feet for about 8-10 hours a day, so that probably why i have only put on 4lbs! Im writing because i dont know if i should just try sticking again to the consolidation, or if after 2 weeks of not following anything, i should start again from the beggining, and go back to PP and then PV until i reach my goal weight? I understand the concept that pure protein works if you dont abuse it, but i feel bloated, tired and depressed as the scale is going up!
