Guys, I have some questions on what I can and can't eat. Your website is very misleading.
First it says I can eat ham...as long as it's lean. Then in the "Minor" list at end of day report it says "small piece of ham"
Then there Is the yogurt issue. In my list it says "fat free yogurt" so I purchased some and have been eating quite a bit in the day as it's says unlimited. Then I hear the yogurt can not only be fat free....but also no added sugar....it does not say this in my initial plan. Just fat free.
Next issue is eggs....how many egg yolks can I eat a week?
If you could answer my questions on ham, yogurt and eggs it would be much appreciated. Thanks Raph Posted by raph2805 on 06/01/2012 21:43:03

Thanks Raph Hi Ralph Ham has to be very lean, no honey roast etc and 'ose' added like dextrose, fructose or corn strach or corn syrup they are all types of sugar, much the same for yoghurt the daily recommended limit is 1 kg to include all dairies, 2 % or less fat NO ADDED SUGAR or those 'ose' except lactose which occurs naturally in milk and no fruit bits. In Cruise phase you can have 2 fruit yoghurts as tolerated items but they still need to adhere to the other rules, Ive never found any flavoured yoghurt that fits!!! I use 0% Total Greek yoghurt and add my own sweetner (upto 8 teaspoons a day is allowed) and flavour it myself with vanilla or cinnamon and use to make savoury dips etc. Un fortuneately fat free usually means there is sugar in it!!! The guidelines on egg has recently changed to 1 whole egg but unlimited egg whites a day, you can make omlette's etc with just whites, takes a bit of getting used to though. Hope that helps tinker32 Posted by tinker32 on 06/01/2012 22:14:50
